Spring Activities

Perfect for screen-free afternoons and getting a little crafty together.

Easter Bonnets

Part of our Spring tradition is making an Easter Bonnet for the Kids' Easter Party. I used to be one of those parents who wanted everything to be perfect and symmetrical, but over the years, I have learnt to sit on my hands and let the boys take over.

Stained Glass Earth Craft

This beautiful stained glass earth craft is perfect for Earth Day or as a prompt for talking about our earth and they look amazing hanging in the window.

Make sure you allow time for this fun craft.

Wind Spiral

This plastic bottle wind spiral mobile is perfect for hanging out in the garden and watching spin as the wind catches it. I love that it is a cross between process art and a craft and it is a great activity for preschoolers through to tweens.

They look a lot like the work of Dale Chihuly and are almost glass-like.

Spring Crafts

We have a fabulous selection of crafts that kids will love here. I love Spring, the garden is filled with vibrant colours after a long, cold winter and the days are getting longer fast. I LOVE spring because it means more outdoor time, butterflies, birds, bugs, flowers and spring showers.
