March Magic – Fresh Starts, Family Fun & Seasonal Celebrations!

Spring is just around the corner! March is a time of fresh starts, longer days, and new blooms. It’s the perfect month to enjoy small seasonal joys, celebrate special occasions, and get creative with fun family activities

March is a special month for us here in the Madhouse. Our eldest turns 20 and we are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Want to see my very "of the time" wedding dress? Well, keep an eye on my Instagram!

I have been sending a monthly newsletter for a fair while now and was wondering about sending a weekly one. Not a big one, but one focusing on a specific topic.

20 Adorable Spring Crafts

I have started thinking about Spring crafts for kids. We have a fabulous selection of crafts that kids will love here.

Spring & March Printables

March Activities

Flower Pinch Pots

These Daffodil clay pots are such a fun hands-on art and craft project with all the sensory experience that working with clay gives.

I love that the daffodil clay pots are a great tangible piece of art that they can gift.

Rainbow Windsock

We love making crafts that we can use in our learning and this fab rainbow windsock is great for learning about the weather and the wind.

The colours look beautiful against the blue sky and the way that they blow in the wind is a great indicator of both the strength of the wind and the direction.

Rainmaker

This rainbow rainmaker is a great cardboard tube craft and a great homemade musical instrument. There are lots of ways to adapt this project depending on the age of your kids.

They are also a great way of using up out-of-date dried goods (ours were only 9 years over)!

Spring lambs

We have a super selection of sheep and lamb crafts to mark the beginning of Spring, so let’s get crafting.

There are some for kids, some for adults and some for you to do as a family or as a class (my favourites).

Tasty March Treats

A month with of ideas, pancakes (obviously), Pies for Pi Day (March 14th), Frobscottle for World Book Day and my failsafe chocolate fairy cakes which is THE perfect recipe to pass to your partner to get the kids to make for Mother's Day.

Get Ahead - Easter

Looking for Easter crafts, activities and food for kids? Well, look no further I have The Mad House’s complete resource of them all in one place for you here.
