June Newsletter - Could Do June, Fun ideas for the month

June Newsletter

Joyous June

I am so looking forward to June - I missed out on all of June last year due to being in hospital, in fact, I spent all of late spring and summer in hospital.

I LOVE June, it is one of those months that fills me with joy. The lighter nights, the summer solstice, icecreams and my youngest turning 20. Yes, I will no longer have any teenagers, just young adults.

Our nights will be filled with football (soccer) thanks to the World Cup and a family that really loves football and two boys who still believe that England can win (they are not old and jaded like their dad and me)!

I hope, however, that you are spending June you find joy and fun in it.

June Printables

Starting to think about Summer Fun, we have lots of fun printables perfect for June, including free Father's Day Cards.

June Activities

Father's Day

There is nothing better than receiving a kid-made card, and Father’s Day is no exception. So get creative with the kids and make a fun Father's Day card. We have loads of ideas to inspire you and the children.

3D Magic Reverse Perspective Art

This reverse perspective art craft is one of those WOW activities that completely fascinates kids (and grown-ups too). At first it looks like a simple colouring page, but once folded into shape it creates an amazing 3D optical illusion that appears to move as you change position.

Scavenger Hunts

I have always been a big fan of scavenger hunts or eye spy, and we have several printables perfect for all occasions.

I use them when we are going on days out, and if you laminate them and use a water-based pen, you can wipe them and use them again!

Teacher Appreciation

I have never known a teacher who didn't love chocolate or wine, and my kids were enough to drive them to drink, so I made these fun labels.

If these are not your kind of thing, we have some other great teacher appreciation ideas so you can get ahead.

June Treats and Eats

From Stawberry cupcakes to fab breakfasts filled with fruit and then two peanut butter basics!

Get Ahead - Summer Activities
